🦎 My Bearded Dragon’s Experience
Bearded dragons need strong UVB light to stay healthy. With this strip:
I set it to Lizard Mode and then fine-tuned UVB to about 70% using the remote.
My dragon is more alert in the mornings now, basking under the light like he would under the sun.
His appetite improved noticeably, he actually comes out ready to eat after the “sunrise” effect.
The light makes the enclosure look bright and natural without the harsh glare of older fluorescent tubes.
🐍 My Ball Python’s Experience
Ball pythons don’t require the same intense UV as dragons, but they still need a proper light cycle to tell day from night. With this strip:
I use Snake Mode, which keeps UVB at a very low setting.
The sunrise/sunset cycle is especially useful, no more sudden light shocks when the room goes dark.
It doesn’t overheat the enclosure (important for snakes, since their temps need to stay steady).
It makes the terrarium look more natural without stressing the animal.
